Founded in 1965 with the clear purpose of delivering fine dinnerware porcelain both for domestic and hotel purposes, SPAL has through the years kept a strong and consistent vision towards the relevance of design in the ceramics industry.
The company combines all the necessary facilities in order to provide a fully integrated solution to each of its business partners in more than 45 countries worldwide. Starting with the selection and preparation of the finest raw materials, SPAL features modern industrial facilities including a moulding department and a decal unit within the group of companies, prepared to deliver nearly 18 million pieces per year.
The in-house design studio as well as a long background of working with well-known international designers reinforces its very eclectic and diversify portfolio of creations. Its methodology, working in close partnership with the client, has been recognized for some the worlds’ most prestigious labels with whom SPAL has been proudly working, for several decades. The Frankfurt Ambiente Fair is one of the major touch point with the marketplace for which SPAL prepares its annual collection (Hall 4.1 Stand A15).
