P&R is a sports technical garments producer, founded in 1982 and located in Barcelos, northern Portugal. With a 5.900 m2 facility and a 190 people full time staff team, P&R covers all strategic activities from product design, R&D and engineering to manufacturing. Working together with major global brands in the field of active sportswear, team wear and competition wear, P&R its specialized in bonded seams and bonded products, using stretch materials, covering a wide range of sports such as: Cycling-Swimwear-Triathlon-Outdoor, Running, Track & Field – Fitness - Collective (Rugby, Football and Handball), Rowing and biathlon. The productive platform of P&R integrates the last generation of CAD/CAM systems, automatic cutting, laser precision cutting and a very flexible and technical material joining techniques range, covering both Conventional Seams with a strong flatlock capacity, and Bonded and Seal Seams. Being client driven and innovation minded, P&R is SA8000 and ISO 9001 certified and has strong focus on both product fitting and functionalities, towards enhancing athlete’s performance at the competition field. For achieving such goal, P&R has a strong link with several national and international research organizations and has a long track history in both European and National Research cooperation projects.
