AGRI-PRO AMBIENTE is a majority capital Portuguese firm, founded in 1991, with almost 25 years of experience in providing independent consulting services in Environment and Environmental Planning in Portugal and also in different countries around the world. Is based in Lisbon (Portugal) and with offices in Oporto (Portugal) and Macao (China), integrates local law companies in Angola (headquarters in Luanda) and Mozambique (headquarters in Maputo) and has established strategic partnerships in Algeria and Brazil.
AGRI-PRO AMBIENTE is a certified ISO 9001:2008 Company (APCER/IQNET), for studies and projects, environmental management, environmental monitoring and acoustic measurement and comprises a very specialized multidisciplinary body of permanent staff and experts.
AGRI-PRO AMBIENTE has intervened on environmental aspects of large projects, directing and developing environmental, planning and strategic development projects. Its performance covers the different project phases, from design, planning, evaluation and licensing to environmental management, supervision and monitoring of the construction and operation phases, in different types of project.
This technical team, with very diversified backgrounds, is specialized in environment; regional planning and management, protected areas, ecology, hydrology, geology, geomorphology, water quality (physical, chemical, biological and models application), noise (models application of models), air quality (dispersion models), risk assessment (safety and ecological, with models application), site contamination and abandoned mines recovery including radioactive sites, agriculture, irrigation and rural development, tourist resorts and geographic information systems.
AGRI-PRO AMBIENTE has intervened on environmental aspects of large projects, directing and developing environmental, planning and strategic development projects. Its performance covers the different project phases, from design, planning, evaluation and licensing to environmental management, supervision and monitoring of the construction and operation phases, in different types of project. It uses the most recent technologies and methodologies, based on international laws and standards, working according with the most demanding requirements and procedures (like the ones from European Union or World Bank and other regulatory authorities). Also uses the most recent modelling programs for the evaluation of the contamination and dispersion of pollutants and dangerous products in water, soil and air, as well as for the evaluation of its consequences and associated environmental and safety risks.
