In 2003 Equanto registered its own 100% Organic European brand - ORIGENS BIO.

Currently it´s the most notorious organic food brand in the Portuguese market, recognized as Breakfasts Expert.
Our Research & Development Department composed by Nutritionists, Chefs and Food Engineers is constantly challenged to come up with healthy and nutritionally balanced options without giving up flavour.

Origens Bio was created in 2005 with the mission of offering a high quality and convenience food by using only ingredients from organic farming.
We were pioneers in the development of a complete line of organic frozen ready meals. We extended our offer by expanding our manufacturing and this was determinant for us to launch new product categories: superfoods, flours, sugars, grains, coconut products and many others.
