With about 40 ha of vineyards, Herdade do Perdigão is located in the heart of Alto Alentejo, near Monforte, a small village with a rich history since its founding in 1257.
Under the influence of São Mamede mountain range, doubtless responsible for the unique and differentiated Terroir, ideal soil for growing Portuguese grapes varieties and the knowledge of a motivated team, we produce wines representing a benefit to their lovers.
The process starts at the vineyard, with stict control all year long, to achive the best fruit quality at the harvest. The following is an extreme rigor and careful harvesting to lead the grapes at the optimum point of ripeness to the winery, were using the most modern winemaking criteria, will be transformed into wines with the Herdade do Perdigão seal.

With citric color, shows a fina and persistent bubble. Aroma of dried fruit and biscuit, citric notes. On the palate is delicate with freshness. Elegant and harmonious.

With garnet color, displays black plum aroma with cocoa and violets. On the palate has round tannins. It is harmonious with a good concentration.

It is believed that the vine cultivation in this region has roots in the Roman occupation of the Iberian Peninsula.
