Solar Tubes:

Natural lighting of spaces through the capture, transmission and diffusion of daylight  within domestic and industrial spaces. The Chatron solar tube is one of the most advanced tubular natural lighting systems in the world, thanks to the permanent development in collaboration with Portuguese and European Universities and Technological Centers.
In addition, the solar tube is a natural lighting system that maximizes the concept of renewable energy, channeling the natural light from the roofs into the houses and factories. Solar tubes create more natural, healthier and more productive environments. Our Solar Pipes are suitable for almost any application, from bathrooms, corridors, living rooms and bedrooms to factories and warehouses. We have references throughout Europe, but also in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and North, Central and South America.
The Solar Tube is also designed to optimize efficiency and service life, offering a high guarantee to its customers.
Chatron has several versions of solar tubes for efficient lighting during the day but also throughout the 24 hours:

• Solar tube - Standard version for daylighting
• Solar Tube Persa - With natural lighting during the day and with a small built-in accumulation system for led lighting at night
• Solar Tube Uranus - For integral lighting of industrial spaces, always with priority to the Sunlight.

Another area in great development and with a lot of innovation to the mixture is the solar drying / dehydration.
The first solar dryer / dehydrator developed by Chatron was carried out in 2007. Since then, Chatron has developed and innovated its products a lot.

Solar dryers

Chatron solar dryers are devices that allow the air to be heated with solar energy to a temperature above 45ºC, with a corresponding relative humidity below 10%, which, when blown inside a drying chamber, can remove moisture from products / foods that are there. Solar dryers require an initial investment, but no expense (day drying) or little expense (drying 24 hours) for their operation.
Nowadays, solar drying is essentially done using Chatron solar dryers, of different complexities, which optimize the energy source that is the Sun.
The use of Chatron solar dryers has several advantages, including:

• Increased product life and reduced post-harvest losses;
