Faster is a Portuguese food processing company. The company was set up in 2002 and began operating in 2003. The company is led by a mature administrator, while the technical and operational management is composed of 8 young and dynamic engineers.

Faster employs around 70 people and has large, modern industrial facilities of approximately 1800m2, with a daily production capacity of 8 tons.

The company began to produce snacks, and has gradually evolved, according to the needs of the Portuguese market, to produce a wide range of frozen ready meals.

Faster is certified with FSSC 22000 and is currently applying for IFS.

Faster has been expanding its presence amongst key Portuguese food retailers. Faster has already established important strategic relationships with partners, such as: Jeronimo Martins (i.e., Pingo Doce), Sonae (i.e., Continente and Bom dia), LIDL Portugal, SPAR Portugal, Auchan Portugal (i.e., Pão de Açucar and Jumbo), Les Mousquetaires (i.e., Intermarché) and El Corte Ingles.

Faster has also in its client’s portfolio regional distributors and wholesalers, companies related to the food service (e.g., catering companies as Eurest) and international clients in the Spanish, Italian, French, Brazilian, Angolan and Timor-Lest.
