Linked for the last three generations to the José de Mello family, Monte da Ravasqueira occupies an area of ??about 3000 hectares of typical Alentejo landscape. Since 2002, it has been committed to producing wines of distinctive quality, Monte da Ravasqueira also develops a number of other activities related to cork, olive oil, honey, cattle breeding and fattening black pork alentejano, in addition to wine tourism activities. Located in Arraiolos, this is an estate comprising 45 hectares of vineyard. This vineyard is explored and enhanced by our oenology and winemaking team who has made wines not only in Portugal but in New Zealand and Chile. We work hard to find the best match between tradition and innovation making the most of our vines by a better identification of the optimum times to harvest each vine, each plant through the use of aerial photography and the techniques of precision viticulture.
