Licóbidos is a family business that has inherited a whole testimony with more than 60 years of tradition left by his mentor and creator Abílio Ferreira de Carvalho.

We made a commitment to maintain the quality and tradition that has marked us since ever. This concern also is extended to the agricultural part which has been our partner. Owners of about 20 000 sour cherry trees, we ensure our self-sufficiency and maintain high standards of quality. Licóbidos, safe and with strong links foremothers came to strengthen flavours and relive memories.

The Sour Cherry Liqueur is a family tradition liquor and is very appreciated in Portugal.

 This is a 100% natural liqueur, already several consecutive times awarded in Brussels with 3 gold stars, USA and Portugal, without colourings or preservatives, with an alcohol content of 18º, of limpid aspect, ruby colour, fresh acidity, liquor consistency, intense sour cherry aroma and a slight hint of cinnamon.

The Brand "Mariquinhas” is inspired by Fado with notes of several Portuguese traditional elements in its branding such as filigree and embroidery, came through its image convey the true Portuguese culture.
