Mateus & Sequeira Vinhos is a family-owned company with a 25-year history, currently one of the largest wine and Porto wine producers in the Douro region. It owns approximately 600 hectares of its own vineyards and 59 hectares of olive groves across 28 estates situated in the three sub-regions of the Douro wine region: Baixo-Corgo, Cima-Corgo, and Douro Superior.
The company operates three winemaking facilities, one in Peso da Régua, another in Vila Nova de Foz Côa, and the main vinification center in São João da Pesqueira at Quinta do Cadão.
