Dulfar is a family company established in 1989 in Penha de Águia, Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, district of Guarda, in the region of Beira Alta. Dulfar dedicatesmitself to the manufacturing and extraction od olive oil since that time, and its Managing Director since 1971, so there is a long-term experience in the agricultural and food bisiness.

For many years its production was sold to business wholesalers that concluded the packing and selling of the olive oil to its consumers.

With the liberalization of olive oil market and the end of custos barriers, the sector, like all economic sectors, went through big changes regarding the producer/consumer/quality and price relationship. As a consequence several investments were made in order to improve the quality and its sale directly to the consumer, putting on the market a high quality olive oil (extracted in cold under 27º Celsius) with a lower price compared to the wholesaler’s market.

Dulfar has now the full circuit – production, transformation, packaging and trade.
