Morais Rocha Wines is a family-owned Portuguese producer from Vidigueira, in the Alentejo region, dedicated to creating wines and extra virgin olive oils that express the distinctive character of this historic terroir.

Born from a long-held family ambition to produce high-quality products rooted in the identity of Vidigueira, Morais Rocha combines respect for tradition with modern and innovative winemaking practices. The region’s temperate microclimate, schist soils, higher rainfall and mild temperatures contribute to wines with structure, freshness and minerality, while Vidigueira is especially recognised as one of Alentejo’s reference areas for white wines.

Our vineyards include leading Portuguese and international grape varieties, such as Aragonez, Trincadeira, Syrah, Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Nacional, Antão Vaz, Arinto, Verdelho, Alvarinho and Viosinho. From vineyard management to harvest and cellar work, each step is guided by care, precision and a commitment to quality.

The portfolio includes wines under the Morais Rocha, Herdade dos Veros, JJ, As Velhas, Bem-te-vi and Sei Lá! brands, several of which have received national and international recognition, including awards from Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Gilbert & Gaillard and Portuguese wine competitions.
