Encosta da Vila Sociedade Agrícola Lda, is located in the Lisboa wine producing region. Under the influence of the Atlantic ocean, the diversity of its landscape has the perfect conditions to produce grapes of outstanding quality.
Since early 2013, Encosta da Vila has concentrated its activity in the production and marketing of wine.
Using the finest Portuguese grape varieties such as Arinto (white), Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional (reds) blended with the international Syrah we produce full bodied wines with exceptional aromatic quality.
Achieving various awards in both international and Portuguese wine competitions, the quality of our brand Porão Velho (both red and white) is certainly certified by the highest standards.

Garnet colored wine with aromas of red fruits. In the mouth it is smooth and rounded with balanced acidity and with ripe and elegant tannins. Ideal to accompany grilled red meat dishes, strong hunting dishes and cheeses with intense flavor.

Wine with a rosy color attractive, lush aroma of lilies, raspberries and berries. In the mouth, the freshness of the acidity gives vivacity to the notes of sweets and tropical fruits very mature. Ends long with a nice touch of mint. Serve to accompany an entrée, seafood, fatty fish, pizza, pasta or oriental cuisine.

The aromatic bouquet of this wine, combines a pleasant mix of floral and fresh fruity. In the mouth, the balanced acidity enhances its freshness. It has medium structure and intensity, with some greasiness at the end, which gives it persistence at the end of the race.

White wine produced with the best varieties of the Lisbon Region, citrine color and aroma of fresh fruit. It is a fruity wine with a long, lingering finish. ideal wine to accompany fish dishes and seafood.

Produced in the Lisbon Region, from the red varieties of Castelão and Aragonez, through the traditional “bica aberta” process (grape skins have no contact wiyh the must during fermentation) at a controlled temperature of 17ºC. it features a pinkish red colour, an enveloping flavor of red fruits and a fresh taste. Ideally served from 6ºC to 8ºC, with selfish, fish or grilled meat dishes.
