Moldmak is a Horizontal Milling and Deep Hole Drilling Machine with Angular Capacity & Rotary table
Moldmak's main advantage comes from its multi-task capacity to do big millings, end-millings, drilling, tapping and deep hole drilling (gun drill & STS) and CMM (coordinate measuring machine). This allows to accomplish all mold's milling and drilling needs in the six faces of the part with only two setups.
The combination of a wide angular capacity with a rotary table, allows extreme flexibility to reach all usual milling constrains areas.
Moldmak offers last generation CNC digital servo controllers, with software applications, allowing to monitor in detail and to manage production KPI's. It antecipates events and analyses process trends, with full complience of Industry 4.0.
Moldmak is 30% faster than conventional solutions because:
- It reduces part's handovers and setup times, leaving more available time to production;
- It shortens execution times due to the advantages of horizontal milling and drilling head capacity;
- At the end of each task there is a dimensional control feature that assures that only the geometrically validated parts proceed to the next step.
Multifunction Process Machine Milling and Deep Hole Drilling
Moldmak is a process machine that integrates multi-capacity skills: Milling, end-milling, drilling, tapping, deep hole drilling and CMM. Its robust design of the horizontal cutting head allows angular high performance milling and drilling operations, specially designed to make molds. In fact, MOLDMAK incorporates an additional dimensional control capability of the machining process.
Interim Dimensional Control (IDC)
Dimensional verification already exists, but it is not practical to systematize a control process between machining steps.
With the IDC, we can define a quality control of execution throughout the process, ensuring that we only advance from one stage to another, when the part is in accordance with what is planned.
