Amphora Wine produced in an artisan way through the millenarian technique of fermenting grapes in clay hoists. This technique, which came from Roman times, has remained unchanged over more than 2000 years of history, moving from grandparents to parents and from parents to children through popular wisdom. This is the running wine of the producer Honrado.

Talha Premium

This brand is also bottled with Amphora Wine. Due to the limited size of each clay deposit where the wine is produced (Amphoras), and to the unique wine that each one produces, this version of "TALHA" was bottled after the producer decided which of the Amphoras produced the best wine of the year. This is why this is a special limited edition numbered up to 1000 bottles.

Products description

Orange Amphora Wine produced in a specific and traditional way used by the Romans more than 2000 years ago. The grapes are harvested by hand, in small boxes, and by caste. Destemming and crushing of the grapes in a mill, and fermentation in Clay Amphoras coated with beeswax. The wines are kept in contact with the wine masses until November 11, and the malolactic fermentation still occurred inside the Amphora.

    • International approach

     

    With the growing demand for the Amphora Wine that has been registered in recent years by the international markets, the producer Honrado intends to take it's Orange Wine across borders, and be part of a movement where the whole world gets the chance to know this ancient way of wine production.


    As China, USA, Switzerland and Brazil are the international markets that are becoming familiar with the Amphora Wine, the first phase of internationalization passes through these markets. Later on, some European Countries, and finally export to Australia and New Zeland.
