The cellar, Adega Vila Flor (AVL), was founded in 1962 and is located north-east of Portugal.
The winery has the most modern winemaking technology and skilled professionals capable of developing high quality wine.
The winery receives each year about 2 million kg of grapes harvested in vineyards framed on the territory (DOC) wines of the Douro.
The grapes of indigenous origin (varieties from the Middle Ages), are essentially the following varieties: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Malvasia Fina, Gouveio, Códega do Larinho, Moscatel Galega.
Clear appearance, bright pink color. Aroma, with notes of red fruits, especially strawberry and raspberry. Fresh, slightly sparkling taste with a good acidic structure. 10,5%
Touriga franca e Tinta Roriz
Clear appearance, ruby ??color with brownish reflections. Vinous aroma, with notes of red fruits and vanilla. Balanced taste, good structure, soft and fruity.

Tasting notes: Clear appearance, good continuous effervescence and persistent, abundant bubbles. Aroma is elegant, with fruity notes and good aromatic expression. Taste is fresh, enveloping and harmonious, with good acidity balance.

The grapes of indigenous origin (varieties from the Middle Ages), are essentially the following varieties: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão and Muscat. These varieties give rise to wines with a unique complexity and richness, characteristics of Douro wines.
The grapes for the production of white wines are made from the Malvasia Fina, Gouveio, Rabigato and Viosinho.
For the production of wine from Muscat, we use caste Moscatel Galego.
Our wines are subjected to a high control in all stages of development. The certification company examine the process of development and wine production in order to preserve the quality and unique features of the wines.
